General rules - If you break these rules you will be disabled or in repeated cases IP banned ! (Seen by all)

  • Follow the moderators expressed wishes ! Moderators see to that all follow the same rules.
  • Accounts with nothing uploaded / downloaded will be disabled after 6 weeks.
  • You must be Power User+ to make a request.
  • Do not upload our torrents to other trackers ! (See the FAQ for details.)
  • Disruptive behavior in the forums will result in a warning .
    You will only get TWO warning ! After that you will be disabled.
  • Ratio-cheating will get you banned and your IP will most likely be posted in the forums along with your e-mail address.
  • Nordic-T's torrents are for Nordic-T ONLY. Uploading on other trackers will not be tolerated (unless uploader clearly allows this in the description), and you will be disabled.

 Downloading rules - Not following these rules means you will lose download privileges! (Seen by all)

  • Access to the newest torrents is conditional on a good ratio! (See the FAQ for details.)
  • Low ratios will result in severe consequences, including disabling and banning in extreme cases.
  • Automatic class demotion to Peasant:
      • The Peasant class is the lowest class on Nordic-T. Users with a ratio below 0.40, who have downloaded more than 4 GB, will be warned to correct their ratio. They will only be able to seed/leech 5 torrents. Ratio must be above 0.5. If they do not fix their ratio after 1 week they will get one more warning and limited to simultaneously 2 torrents to download max. Such warned persons will have 2 weeks to increase their ratio to 0.5 or their account will be disabled.
  • If you have downloaded less than 1 GB you will not have to worry about warnings, but will only be able seed/leech 2 torrents at a time. After you have downloaded 1 GB and your ratio is above 0.5 you will be able to seed/leech 10 torrents at a time again. If not contact a moderator.
  • Users will be able to seed/leech 10 torrents at a time.
  • Power Users / Uploader's will be able to seed/leech 100 torrents at a time.
  • You must have legal rights to the file you are downloading.

 General Forum Guidelines - Please follow these guidelines or else you might end up with a warning! (Seen by all)

  • No aggressive behavior or flaming in the forums.
  • No trashing of other peoples topics (i.e. SPAM).
  • No language other than Finnish, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and English in the forums.
  • No systematic foul language.
  • No links to warez or crack sites in the forums.
  • No linking or deeplinking to other trackers.
  • No requesting or posting of serials, CD keys, passwords or cracks in the forums.
  • No bumping... (All bumped threads will be deleted.)
  • No images larger than 800x600, and preferably web-optimised.
  • No double posting. If you wish to post again, and yours is the last post in the thread please use the EDIT function, instead of posting a double.
  • Please ensure all questions are posted in the correct section ! Forum will end up in a mess if you do not follow this simple rule.
    (Game questions in the Games section, App's questions in the App's section, etc.)
  • Last, please read the FAQ before asking any questions ! If you need help, we will be more than willing to do so. First Liners are trained and experienced users. Their job is to help you. Do not ask your questions directly to administrator or above. They have other responsibilities than to answer n00b questions.

 The IRC Circus - When you get uploader status certain forums and channels on IRC will be available. (Seen by All)

    Ask on IRC on access to channel #Nordicup, and uploader status on the main channel. You need to register on IRC BEFORE you ask about change of status. Read this page: To Register your Nick name on IRC. Kindly DO NOT please ask us to teach you to read English .... In order to register write:

    /msg nickserv register YOUR-PW EMAIL

    If you use mIRC, which you can get from HERE you go to: "Tools --> Options --> Connect --> Options --> Perform", and write:

    /ns identify YOUR-PW /j #nordic-t /j #nordicup

    This will get you automatically on the Nordic-t channels every time your are connected to an After-All.orc server. Press the button below to join the live chat on IRC.


 Avatar (The picture you have chosen) and nationality Guidelines - Please follow these guidelines (Seen by all)

  • The allowed avatar formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
  • Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 pixel and a size of no more than 150 KB. (Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good; larger images will just waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.)
  • Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn, religious material, animal / human cruelty or ideologically charged images. Moderator's have wide discretion on what is acceptable. If in doubt PM one.
  • As not all users speak a Scandinavian language, we advise you to add your nationality on the profile. This will add a flag in front of your nick in forums, inbox and comments on torrents. Please do not speak a Scandinavian language, if you see that a Spanish guy have uploaded a torrent. We loose foreign uploader's and users, if they do not understand what we talk about. This rule is important.
